How to Wear UGG Boots
As we approach fall and winter, there will be women all over the country putting on boots. UGG boots are a favorite, but too often women copy what they see other women doing, and both of them end up looking silly and being badly dressed. There is a right and wrong time to wear UGG boots. Here are a few suggestions before you go out in public and make a fool of yourself.
- Never wear UGGS in warm weather – you look ridiculous wearing sheepskin lined boots in 90 degree weather. UGGS are for cold weather, designed to keep your feet warm and toasty. Put on some sandals (either flats or high heeled city sandals) instead.
- Never wear UGGS with skin colored pantyhose or bare-legged. That means do not put on UGGs with swimsuits, shorts, miniskirts or any of that. If its warm enough for you to go bare-legged outdoors, it is inappropriate to wear winter shoes such as UGGS.
- Never wear UGGS with pajama bottoms or sweat pants. The appropriate bottoms to wear with UGGS are cold weather attire such as slim fitting jeans, cargo pants, warm leggings or corduroy. Sweats belong in a gym or at home as loungewear. The appropriate footwear to put on with sweats are athletic shoes (running shoes or cross trainers). At home slippers or warm socks are best.
- Never wear UGGs with big puffy furry Eskimo looking coats. Avoid coats that are lined with sheepskin that “match your boots” because you will end up look like a big bear. Instead, a warm sweater with a vest, or a form fitting leather or wool jacket will give you the best fashion look.

I personally always found Uggs to be ugly
I totally disagree with your statement of not wearing Uggs with a puffy coat or sheepskin coat!!! I love it when a girl does that and it looks AWESOME!!!!
