Relationships and On Point Men Discussed 7/25/2010
So you meet a Black man that has good credit, an education, owns a home, and has a viable and legal source of income. He hasn’t been in prison and he is looking for a wife. Perfect, right?
Well… he considers himself to be “on point” and therefore, superior to other men. Part of his belief system is that you, as a mere woman, are automatically disqualified from leading the relationship. He feels that it is his right and privilege to lead you because he is “on point”.
As discussed in the article “The On Point Black Man, Leadership and Submission,” we have lots of questions to answer. Do Black women resist getting with men they feel are on their level educationally and professionally, or do they avoid these men because of their mandate that women submit? Is a relationship with a man that believes he is superior to you ever going to work?
What do you have to say about the “on point” man, leadership and female submission? Call into the broadcast on Sunday, July 25th at 6:00 p.m. PST/9:00 p.m. EST at 347-327-9215 and share your thoughts, or join the lively chat room discussion.
