Why Are Women In Such a Rush to Secure a Commitment?
Women want to feel secure in their relationships, to belong, to have confidence in where they stand. This desire is most often expressed in an anxious desire to label and put a title on their developing relationship with a new man.
Surprisingly, many of the females that write me are in a rush to secure a commitment from the guy they are seeing, yet, when I ask the most basic questions about the man’s history, habits, character and goals – the women have no information to share. That means that a great many women “put the horse before the cart,” meaning they are in such a hurry to be in a committed relationship that they don’t take the time to get a clear idea of who or what they are committing to!
Since this is an extremely common problem amongst dating singles, I thought it best to address the issue in a response to a recent dating advice question.
